What to expect

The Happy Crabber can be a half-day excursion from 7am-12pm or 12pm-5pm, or you can choose to maximize your time on the water with a full-day trip. All equipment is provided, so just bring your sunscreen. Here’s everything you need to know: 

We’ll start by trolling for Spanish mackerel and bluefish or bottom fishing for flounder, croakers and more.

We’ll fish in tranquil Pamlico Sound if the ocean waters are too rough.

Then, we’ll pull up the crab traps, sort the crabs, re-bait and reset.
